Privacy Policy

The short version: Cat Nap has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or location. Your progress stays on your phone. We use Google's tools to show ads and to count how the game is played, and you can limit both.
Who we are
Cat Nap is made by Cozy Studios (“we”, “us”). You can reach us any time at hello@playcozystudios.com.
What stays on your device
Your level progress, bonus paws, settings and which cat sits on your title screen are saved only on your phone. We don't receive them, and deleting the app deletes them.
What is collected, and by whom
- Ads (Google AdMob). To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown; otherwise you'll see non-personalised ads. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
- Game analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). We count things like levels started and finished, hints used and crashes, together with basic device information and an app-instance identifier. This helps us find levels that are too hard and fix bugs. It isn't used to identify you.
- Purchases (Apple App Store and Google Play). If you buy “Remove ads”, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We only receive confirmation that the purchase happened, never your payment details.
How we use it
To run and improve the game, show ads that keep Cat Nap free, remember a Remove ads purchase, and keep the game working. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone other than the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf.
Your choices
- Change your ad consent any time in Settings → Privacy inside Cat Nap.
- On iPhone, Cat Nap only uses your advertising identifier if you allow tracking. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.
- Buying “Remove ads” turns off banner and between-level ads. Optional hint videos stay available if you want them.
Children
Cat Nap is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll help remove it.
How long data is kept
Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for improving the game and is then deleted automatically according to our Google Analytics retention setting. Ad data is handled under Google's own retention policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete data about you, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll help. Because Cat Nap has no accounts, it helps to tell us your device type and roughly when you played.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
